I am Marju, a professional violinist from London, UK. I love to perform at events, weddings, clubs and other special occasions. However, I also love to give private lessons in the art of the violin.
I learned my skills form a young age and I'm also a proud M.A. graduate in Solo Violin Performance from Helsinki, Finland. I have been playing the violin since I was 8 years old, and now I am thrilled to share my passion and knowledge with students of all ages.

Where do I teach?
If you are based in any of the Southern or South-West regions of London, private violin classes are available. I teach in any of the Merton, Wandsworth, Lambeth or Kingston upon Thames areas and disctricts.
Such as: Colliers Wood, Morden, Mitcham, Wimbledon, South-Wimbledon, New Malden, Balham, Battersea, Putney, or Tooting Bec.

From the comfort of your home
Want to learn to play a beautiful instrument, like the violin? But not quite fond of the idea of going to a busy music school?
My private violin lessons are the perfect solution! I teach both in person and online.
In person, one-on-one, private lesson
Most effective is in person of course because of the aspect of hearing the notes more clearly and seeing exactly what part of your technique needs work. However, having online sessions is definitely proven to be a very good and time efficient way of learning.
Online sessions
I can help you understand the technique of playing the violin through online video calls. It can also be helpful to combine sessions in person with online lessons to keep the progress going.
This also is a good option for people living a bit further away!
Pricing
I usually teach every student 1 hour per week on regular days if possible. No worries if you can't have a lesson on some day in the future, just inform me and we can re-schedule! Or if you'd rather have one lesson every two weeks that is possible too.
Private lessons at home
My private 1-on-1 lesson at home package is priced at £45 per lesson. The lesson will take 1 hour.
Private online course
My private online lesson is priced at £25 per lesson. The lesson will take 45 minutes.
