About Marjuviolin
Offering beautiful, immersive and lively string playing, Marju is professional musician who performs at all kinds of events and occasions. Including weddings, ceremonies, business events, clubs, restaurants or private events.
History
It all started when she was 7 years old when she first started playing the violin in Finland, where she grew up. People around her noticed quickly that she had talent for music and she learned and memorised music extraordinarily fast.

During university, Marju decided to pursue her talent and passion and become a professional violinist. She began performing with professional orchestras in Finland and abroad while still completing her studies. After graduating, Marju chose to take her music career even further and bring music directly to audiences as a solo events violinist. Classically trained, Marjuviolin holds a Master’s Degree in Solo Violin Performance from the University of the Arts in Helsinki, Finland.

Since 2014, Marju has built a vibrant career as a professional orchestral musician, and in 2022 she transitioned to working full-time as an acoustic and electric violinist, performing around the world. This gives her over 10+ years of experience in the professional music industry.
Performer
Her musical styles range from classical to pop, Electronic Dance Music (EDM), and House. Marju has a unique ability to tailor her setlist to suit each event and happily takes song requests.
In this way, she ensures that every performance is shaped around her clients’ wishes and preferences, taking great pride in her craft and artistry.
She is based in the Netherlands and performs primarily throughout the country, but she also works internationally. Marju often performs in the UK, and her gigs and shows have taken her to Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain (including Ibiza and Las Palmas), Belgium, Germany, France, and the United States.
Teacher
Besides performing professionally she also has a passion for teaching. Using her knowledge and experience she teaches violin to students from all ages. Marju is adaptable and can read her student well. She's good with children and knows how to excite and motivate them for violin. As it takes practice and determination to make real progress in learning to play the violin. But she can be strict and disciplined when it's needed too. As that's how she has learned when she was a little girl.
